God's Three Steps To Answered Prayer And To Healing, Too

     I had a cold.  It had been around for a couple of days.  It
wasn't hindering me from working but I was pretty miserable.

     I was sitting in the living room of our home studying,
praying, and meditating on the things the Holy Spirit had been
showing me before I went out to my office to work.  god had
miraculously shown me what I called His Three Steps To Answered
Prayer.  I wrote a booklet, it is free to read on my website,
called, "God's Three Steps To answered Prayer."  I won't go into
the details of how the Lord showed me the three steps right now
but if my booklet isn't detailed enough, I'll write more about it
in hopes to explain how it works more specifically.

     I was reviewing the passages of Scripture the Lord had shown
me about how to petition God and how to get my prayers answered.
when I finished reviewing my notes and concluding a brief time of
prayer and meditation, I felt the Lord telling me to apply what He
had revealed to me.  I was hesitant.  What if it didn't work?
Yet, I felt strongly He was encouraging me to put my faith where
my mouth was.  I prayed for about ten minutes and applied the
three principles the Lord has shown me.  When I finished, I felt
no different and nothing, absolutely nothing, happened.  I was
still sick with a cold.

     feeling thirsty, I got up and walked to our kitchen.  Finding
a glass, I turned on the water and placed my glass under the flow
of water.  By the time it took my glass to fill with water, I was
healed from my cold.  That's right.  It had totally and utterly
vanished.  I had absolutely not one symptom.  I was stunned.  This
had never happened to me before.  It worked!  I walked to my
office and began working and began rejoicing over what had just
occurred.

     A few minutes later, my symptoms returns.  I felt exactly as
I head before I had petitioned God.  I stopped what I was doing.
Was it real?  Had I just been imagining everything?  No.  It was
real.  It had happened.  I had been healed.  I said so out loud
and prayed against the Enemies trickery and went back to what I
was doing.  The symptoms vanished again.

     this same  scenario occurred several more times and I
responded exactly the same each time; declaring God's Word was
true and that He had healed me according to His promises.  By the
time an hour had passed, the symptoms had left once and for all
and never returned.

     One thing I have learned in my 50 years of walking with the
Lord is the simplicity of His promises.  Forget the complicated
and complex theology you were talk.  Believe God's Word; taking it
at its face value.  Petition God, make your request known, and
stand by what you believe.  Jesus does.

He's ready when you are.
