wow! That is one incredible thing! I'm so glad you all were spared the
fire and the stress of having to deal with its aftermath. God is also good
because you were not asleep when this happened. Hugs and blessings! Can't
wait until your movew is complete!

Subject: Housing regress, progress? You decide!

Hi Guys,
I'm going to share this with you, but first you have to promise that you
will laugh when I'm done because I'm laughing and you have to laugh too,
okay? Are you laughing? Good, me too! Okay, here goes. If there was ever
any doubt that it was time for us to move out of our mobile home, those
doubts were laid to rest last night when our waterheater burned out and
almost caused a house fire. AS you know, a fire in a mobile home is
practically hopeless, but God was so good to us! I'm just praising Him
for His vigilance over our situation.
Caleb and I went into our bathroom to begin to prepare a bath for him and
we were gagged by a horrible smell. The waterheater is in our bathroom.
Anyway, fortunately, Greg wasn't far away so I was able to call him to
come home and begin checking things out. If this had happened even two
hours earlier, I wouldn't have been able to call him because he was on a
hike yesterday. God's timing is so incredeible. Anyway, we tore apart the
water bed, but there was nothing. Greg then started turning off fuses,
but our noses led us back to the waterheater and, eventually, he was able
to find some melted electrical wiring. It's fried. I now have no hot
water. Good thing we're moving soon. I'm doing laundry today by boiling
water, adding the cold and running the washing machine. We haven't worked
out showers yet, but don't worry, we will. I'd hate to have anybody leave
the list on account of our smell. Oh you guys, I don't even want to think
about what could happen next. Why couldn't this have just been a simple
move, uncomplicated and boring . I could have gone for that. IN fact, I
could still go for that. Our God is certainly a God of adventure, that's
for sure.
The workers are banging around in the real house though which means that
more progress is being made so I'm giving thanks for any movement forward
I can get.
God bless,
Kathy
