Hi, Here is my testimony. I hope this tells you all about me.Hi, My
name is Carol Ann. I am 24 years old. I live in South Carolina, but I
am originally from Florida. I am totally blind but I wasn't born that
way. I was legally blind from age seven till age sixteen when I lost
my sight completely. I was in a bad car accident when I was seven my
mom told me all about it. The accident happened on December 7, 1997.
It was pouring down raining that morning and the vehicle in front of
splashed a wall of water on our wieldshield and our van hydroplaned
and rolled on my head five to six times. I died on them six times, had
a heart attack, a stroke, was put in a medically induced coma for
three days, both of my lungs collapsed, and the whole left side of my
face was broken including my nose and the optic nerve in my left eye
was cut away. The doctors diagnosed me with a traumatic brain Injury,
and as legally blind. But I believe the most miraculous things is that
God saved my life. I gave my life to God a couple days before the Car
accident.
On August 25,2006 I was sitting in my Biology class and all of a
sudden I lost the rest of my sight. I asked my teacher if I could go
get my eyedrops and he told me not right now, so I just waited till
after class. When I got out of class another teacher saw me holding
onto the walls and assisted me to the nurses office and the nurse
called my mom and my mom came and got me from school andtook me to the
eye doctor. When we got there my doctor said I had to go to Alabama to
a doctor up there. I Had two cornia transplants done by my doctor,
butt unfortunately they both rejected It devestated me. After the
second Cornia transplant rejected my doctor figured out that I had a
second stroke due to the fact that I had lost feeling up near the top
part of my right eye.
If it wasn't for God I wouldn't have survived all of this. God is
amazing and I love him. He is my best friend. I hope and pray that
everyone gets to know God the way I know him.
