Rhonda,

No, I never have sent it to a publisher. I tried somem time back mailing to
Christian publishers and spent a whole year sending to every Christian
outfit on the planet. They all seem to have the same thing they say and
that is, we already have manuscripts scheduled for the next three or four
years in advance. I sent to small time publishers and the big outfits, too.
I pretty much gave up. Maybe some day I will meet someone on the inside.
It seems you have to know somebody in the inside to get published. I have a
small publisher in Nebraska who can do the publishing, and my oldest sister
is a published author and she does proofreading for me, but I would have to
self publish and that is in the neighborhood of 30,000 dollars plus you have
to sell the books yourself, travel, become a guest speaker on Christian
radio shows, and a whole lot more. Once you do that, and if your book gets
recognition, a Christian publisher then might contract to have another book
published. So, in short, it takes a couple of years off your life when you
self publish.

Phil.
