Dear Pat,

Perhaps the Lord would have you just let go of your Mom and the family
members who reject you and your loving ways. I learned just recently that
one cannot bring about a change in the heart attitude of a loved one, even
by loving them. Only God can make the change in them that you think you
want to see. I know this may seem like hard counsel, but because you
belong to Jesus, He will supply you with what you may need in order to back
off from the situations which hurt you so much. I pray you will allow Him
to enable you, and to remove the pain you are suffering.

In His Love,
Helen
