You learned:

One.  It feels good to share.
two.  You did a good thing for the right reason.
Three.  You got a fair trade.
Four.  You identified with someone else and how they feel.
Five.  You got something you like for trade of something you don't like.
Six.  You learned, most of all, you would have done it any way regardless.

And don't you try and tell me different because I know you.
