Obviously, we can't force people to have surgery against their will. :-) and
you are correct that a lot will have to happen before braille disappears. I
stand by my quote that we are at the beginning of the end of blindness. I
didn't say that we had reached the end of the road, far from it, but we've
set out on that journey, and it appears there is no turning back.
