If it's someone responsible for adaptive technology AND accessible web development (as in, teaching others how to use the technology, not just installing software packages and making simple accessible HTML pages) I'd shoot more towards the $55-60k range...but it depends on the area of the country. Southern Illinois might be a little less than where I live (Providence/Boston).
