There are several providers that allow you to access the web from pretty much
anywhere in the world, depending on the telephone infrastructure of the
country. L.A. should be no problem from that respect. You can use Earthlink,
AT&T, or IBM Globalnet. All you have to do is sign up for an account and ask
for their local access number. I have set up many of our immigration,
medical, and foreign service officers so they can access their e-mail here in
Ottawa when they are travelling abroad. If you run into any problems, feel
free to e-mail me directly at the the e-mail address below. Who knows, maybe
I'll even bump in to you at the conference?

Hello

I will attend CSUN in LA from March 19 to 24. I'll have my notebook with me
and need a provider to access Internet and my E-Mail account. Who can tell
me what's to do?

Thanks and regards

Arnold Schneider
