Hi all,

You can already add audio to a PowerPoint presentation and synchronise it
with the slide show. What does this program add to the mix?

redundant how?? redundant for some users perhaps but this is a big
hill to climb with redundancy for all users at the top.

Dear David,
While you are technically correct, by W3C or 508 standards, that adding
audio will not make a web page accessible, an audio representation of
pertinent information on the web page may make the accessibility
guidelines redundant for many, but not all, web pages.

Problem with their web page creation is that it is not accessible
because as they say, it provides "embedded audio". This is not
accessibility by any stretch of any standards or guidelines.
Further, there are well written guidelines for creating acccessible
powerpoints and they can be exported and used outside of powerpoint.

Many online content providers make extensive use of narrated
PowerPoint, and I believe this new product is an excellent tool to
help providers create slick narrated PowerPoint and also make them
accessible to people with disabilities including those who are deaf
and who are blind. Therefore I am forwarding this press release.
