EASI Online Course in September: Creating and Repurposing More Accessible
Documents
EASI 4-week course starting Tuesday September 3
The content is all available online meaning you can work from anywhere and
at any time.

When content is digitized it has the possibility of being created in
different authoring tools and exported to a wide variety of formats for a
variety of situations. The main thing the author needs to do is to create
the document using correct semantic markup and to organize the content
clearly. Instead of learning different authoring programs, create the
content using the inherent document markup which will export to the new
formats. This course will focus on learning correct markup in Word and then
using it to create highly accessible documents for different audiences and
in a variety of settings.

Lesson 1 (a) Creating Structured Documents with Word
Lesson 1 (b) Creating Accessible Documents in PDF
Lesson 2: The Accessibility of Mainstream E-books and Mainstream e-readers
Lesson 3: Reading and Creating DAISY Content
Lesson 4: PowerPoint, HTML, Braille and Audio

Registration is $350, but EASI Annual Webinar members save $80.
