EASI has two current webcasts posted for the next week:

1 Accessing Higher Ground Conference IN Bolder Co mid November
2 University of Southern Maine and two online Certificate programs

Both are at http://easi.cc and there select either site index or webcasts
to find them both. Actually the Maine one was there all this past week,
but I neglected to announce it.

1 Colorado University is sponsoring a conference on higher ed and
disabilities focusing on technology this November. EASI has a special
track there as we do at the CSUN conference. We sponsor a couple
preconference workshops on web design along with the WebAIM group, a
project of the Learning anytime anywhere Program. EASI also sponsors some
presentations on access to science labs and to tactile graphs and drawings.

2. The University of Southern Maine has a working group that is active in
technology and disabilities. VATU, Virtual Assistive Technology University
provides online courses and a certificate aimed at K-12. EASI and S. Maine
also sponsor another Certificate in Accessible Information Technology
focused to higher education institutions.

Note, EASI's next online course is Beginners' Barrier-free Web Design
starting October 29 and running for 4 weeks all over the Internet:
