See Europe as part\socialist, with higher standards of living than US
and enormously better benefits. Or China where all citizens have free
health care, rents are a few dollars a month and public transpo for pennies.
And much more.

In this connection note that the standard corporate - brand news has the
Chinese monthly income at say $100. But the ghastly exchange set by
US banks makes that number meaningless, as one can see from living costs.

Please remember that capitalism has fatal internal contradictions, outstandingly
recurrent overproduction, leading to huge and cyclical layoffs, depressions
and recessions. The only remedies withing the owners' system are: opening
new external markets, and secondly devising markedly new goods. Both of
these are finally self-limiting. The New World order (just newer technology
applied to the familiar Old World colonialism) is an affort toward new
markets.

But these patch ups finally reach an end. As they have done intermittently
in the US, in fact the effects of recent recessions over the past twenty
years are leading to noticeable impoverishment of the middle class.
