as do habits of thought around money and banking.

the most secure form of money is personal money (an anarchist's dream)
which, when used to trade goods and services, becomes community
money...personal money is backed by the promise of the individual to the
community in which he/she trades.

community currencies will become the best strategy for dealing with the
imminent collapse of capitalism and the ensuing chaos.

regardless of such prognostications, community currencies ought to be a hot
topic of discussion in a forum where chomsky's ghost comes wandering...it
is conventional money that is used to "manufacture consent".

if you want to know more about the possibilities, check out our

if you want to do something, say hello...if you don't understand, ask.

"The love of (conventional) money is the root of much evil for it corrupts
our communities and lays waste the planet" (ernie yacub)

community currencies...abundant, interest free money that always comes home.
