Just who do you think you are? I will not accept an intrusion of such
magnitude upon my person, no matter what the consequences. My body and
what I choose to do with it is my own business -- no one elses. This
includes government intrusion. The sanctity of a person's own body is
the ultimate form of personal property.

As to the idiotic war on drugs, if drugs were legalized, most of the
crime associated with it would go away. Organized crime would lose its
major source of income,a nd public security would be restored. When
society has the unmitigated gall to poke its nose in where it
doesnt'belong, then it has to accept the consequences. No attempt at
suppression will work, but will only destroy society in the long run.

I do not advocate drug addiction or use, but I defend a person's right
to do as he or she pelases with their own selves. When this addiction
croses the line and causes the person to commit a crime, that real crime
should be clearly dealt with. Society should also not have to shoulder
the burden from these individual's wrong choices. The results of their
addiction are thier own fault and their own problem. No welfare should
be offered to enable them to continue their dysfunctional lifestyle.

The US has more people in jail per capita than any other nation on the
face of the earth, including China! However, HALF OR MORE of these are
POLITICAL PRISONERS to the idiotic war on drugs and are not violent
offenders. Holland is a country with a sensible drug policy. They have
permitted even the sale of marijauna in coffee shops in Amsterdam..
Yet, their society is freer and safer than ours can ever dream of being
in its insane frenzy. The sky has not fallen in Holland. Instead, life
goes on quite normally, and freedom is greater. The prisons are also
not full of political prisoners.
