Someone got killed, rather brutally, by some loose cannon. Probably
quite a few people around the world got killed the same day, along with
the children who died from dehydration which could have been cured for a
few dollars. Shit happens. This whole thread seems pointless to me --
everyone is letting a troll set their agenda.

And please don't spin another conspiracy theory out of it. There is a
monster loose out there in the world called the U.S. government/U.S.
ruling class. They commit enough crimes right out in the open to make
totally uninteresting any crimes they commit behind the scenes.

And the enemies (some of them not very nice themselves) of that monster
are going to make mistakes and commit crimes, and even if they didn't
the press would say they did. So it isn't really worth much time
refuting every lie or explaining every overblown story (Daniel Pearl is
such an overblown story) that the press & tv carry.

That leads to being whip-sawed between triviality and "the big picture"
that is so big nothing can be done about it.
