Please, folx, let's just quote the relevant parts of the post we're
replying to.  I believe that's in the guidelines we got when we
subscribed.  As an anarchist, I certainly don't think we should
blindly follow rules, but this one makes a lot of sense.

I strongly second this statement. Excessive quotation renders
messages unreadable, sometimes unintelligible. So please,
REDUCE QUOTING TO A MINIMUM.

Otherwise, subscribers leave the list. Today I received 15 signoff
messages from Maelstrom.
