Take no notice of him. Keep going. The trouble with mail lists is that
you can never really be sure that someone shooting his mouth off (like Mr
Meecham) isn't, say, a precocious but earnest 17 year old angry lad,
empowered by the anonymity and outreach facility of e-mail, pumped up by
reading an epiphanic Chomsky article or two... or whether he is someone
with a considered view worth listening too. Judging by the graceless,
pointless way he has 'dealt' with your contributions I certainly do not
think he is much of a thinker, or if he is, he's disguising it... or
perhaps just having a bad day. There's also a whiff of xenophobia off his
shallow retort... or is it just a touch of bog standard Right-or-Left
American chauvinism? Ignore him.

Perhaps he'll tell me to stop posting to the list now too.
