Do they have the 1988 (I think it was) interview with Chomsky? This
interview provoked quite an uproar from certain segments of its
readership. They objected to carrying the views of someone who talked
about thought control in a free society--they way they saw it, censorship
was by definition something only the Bad Guys engage in; democracies were
per se immune. That being the case, there was no need to air, in a
magazine about free speech, the views of someone who differed on this
question. Of course, this wasn't advocating censorship, oh no, this was
merely "responsible journalism." It was all quite hilarious.
