No, there is no US government "brave" enough to cut energy consumption
or to take responsiblity for the ecologic destruction that internal
combustion is causing.      This was a great article you posted, Frank.

The sad part, is to tune in on the lbo-talk list to see what is
considered Left "business".       Nobody discussing these issues there,
too much.      The labor component of the Left wants jobs, not ecology.
It will be interesting to see what the Labor/ Nader fusion in the Greens
will bring?       Will Labor go ecology, or Nader go Labor?      Or will
there be a Vulcan mind weld to move us forward?
