In TODAY'S society (not 18th cent. society), liberty is essentially
meaningless without a secure income.
A banking system could be devised with the authority to issue some sort
of secure income for *living* to everyone. It is NOT necessary to use the
federal government to extract money from people (in the form of taxes) to
pay for such system of secure income.
After all, it isn't just a JOB which brings security, it is also an
INCOME. It is important to see them as two different sources of
"well-being", but unfortunately habits of thought die hard.
