I can recommend:

Sotto/Varalli at Broad and Locust

Passage to India at Walnut and Juniper

I've never looked for restaurants in the Reading Terminal and have not had
much luck closer to the historic district. However, the blocks around the
historic district have changed quite a bit in the last two years and there may
now be places there that would be celiac friendly. I'm sorry that I can't
give you an recommendations for that area.

Old Bookbinder's....make sure it's the "OLD" one...great seafood

Mr. Ritz gluten free bakery is in Philadelphia--it was one of the first and
is wonderful. You need to go there. Your daughter will also like South
Street--it is where all the young folks hang out. There is a large whole foods on
South Street where you can get food and can even eat it.

Hi,

Unfortunately there isn't much in the Reading Terminal and it's torture to
see all that wonderful food that you have to pass up. On the positive side
there is a wealth of great GF dining in Philly.

Our favorite is Matysons... new american byo at 19th and market. Entrees in
the low $20s. Desserts are terrific. The truffled parm french fries are gf
as well.

For Italian go to Tre Scalini, Radicchio (only early, it gets noisy) or La
Locondo de Ghiottione on N. 3rd. All are BYO and you will have no problem
getting good GF food.

S. American very casual is Sazon at 10th and Spring Garden. Almost
everything on the menu is GF

Mr. Ritts Bakery at 5th and Passyunk is totally GF and really terrific.

Triumph Dining is based in Philadelphia. There are a
bunch of restaurant reviews for Philadelphia
restaurants on the site (www.triumphdining.com). The
dining cards are also very useful and have been used
successfully in many restaurants in Philly.
