Recently there was a post and responses whether Imodium is gluten-free. Suddenly needing the product myself today, I called Imodium's (McNeill's) customer service number. The representative said that for over-the-counter Imodium, the Imodium A-D has no detectable levels of gluten (she said company policy does not let them say gluten-free), but we should avoid the Imodium Advanced which contains additional anti-gas and anti-bloating ingredients. She also offered to send me a list of the gluten status of all the company's products including Tylenol, as well as will send coupons. The customer service number is 1-800-962-5357.
