I would like to know if anyone has other food triggers such as dairy that
cause the same symptoms as gluten.. I recently made bread with a mix
containing dry milk and whey, and then ate it with a smear of GF cheese.
For 3 days I have had terrible cramping, gas, bloat, diarreha, and
gastritis in the tummy.  Similar to a gluten ingestion but my GI said it
could be IBD since I am still having trouble regaining weight and seem to
have a fat intolerance.  Had a colonoscopy in Aug. 2001 and no UC/Crohns
revealed.  Also, had EGD in Nov. 2001 and 2/2002 and Gastritis and CD dxd.

Am strictly GF 4 months and new blood work reveals normal IgAs and
significantly lower IgGs.  He also said levels should be all normal by now
and mentioned the possibility of being refractory.  This contradicts what
other MDs said, as IgGs take longer to resolve.   But he indicated this
since it is taking me so long to bounce back.  He does not seem to think I
should react to foods in such an extreme manner.

Any insights?  I will summarize in a few weeks (on vacation) for those who
suffer similar issues.
