Dear everyone-a big *thank you!* to everyone who sent me their thoughts on
how to handle getting a safe meal at an upcoming wedding. Here's the
summary:

-most popular: call the bride in advance, either explain your needs to her,
or get the number of the caterer or restaurant and call them directly, then
identify yourself when you arive at the reception (I'll probably try this
approach).
-ask for vegetarian meal (hope it's not pasta!)
-Ask the bride's mom, several days in advance
-keep quiet, eat ahead of time and bring food to the wedding that's safe
-Call George Chookazian at the Happy Carrot i River Edge, NK 201-634-1455
or 986-0818-apparently he works with the caterer to advise them on GF
meals.
Also-best quote on this topic (thanks to Andrew)-"most people would
rather be bothered for a few minutes ahead of time, than discover later
that you had a miserable time!"

Thanks again everyone-I'llo let you know how it turns out. -Marne
