For those that are not also Lactose/Casein sensitive -

A co-worker of mine made strawberry jam
and brought a jar in for me with the ingredients
so I could check for the GF status.

I called Kraft to check on
Certo Liquid Fruit Pectin
and while on hold - was told that

Breakstone Cottage Cheese(s) and

Lite & Lively Cottage Cheese(s)

HAVE BEEN RECALLED for possible
E-Coli contamination during production

If you have purchased any recently - look
on the bottom of the cup for 06JUN00W
and return it where you purchased it.

----------- THEN Finally,

when someone answered I asked if Certo Liquid
Fruit Pectin was GF - she, of course,
did not know what GF meant.

After explaining that the Citric Acid could either be
wheat or corn based, she was checking the ingredients-
still not comprehending what she was looking for - she was
quietly mumbling the ingredients when I heard Wheat protein.

I questioned what she had just said and then went into a deeper
explanation of Gluten and I told her that Certo was not GF.
