Thanks to the MANY of you who responded...I am grateful for all of the
information! Here's what you said:
Silk soy milk (suggested by many as best tasting, good to cook with)
Gold N Soft Margarine-Light (not regular)
Rice Dream
Soy Delicious (ice cream substitute)
Continent 8 Soymilk (is marvelous- same results w/ baking as whole milk)
*Does anyone know where to buy this?
Coconut Oil, Palm Oil shortening, or lard- use in place of butter
Coconut Milk- sauces, gravies, baking
Butter substitute: schmaltz for savory dishes
NUCOA margarine for baking- comes in sticks, Fleishman's No-salt
Margarine is dairy-free
Smart Balance GF & DF tastes BAD!
Earth Balance (tubs) taste great & melts on food. Don't bake with it
though.
Almond Breeze Milk- great!
Vance's Dairy Free Powder
2 yogurts-Silk soy & white wave...only "O.K."
Hain's safflower margarine
WestBrae Natural Rice Beverage- plain (find it at Super Target)
Cheese- this was one that most of you said there just isn't a good
substitute for. However, here are some suggestions (some of you said soy
cheese contains dairy so be careful):
                        www.followyourheart.com
Has Vegan gourmet cheeses- favorite was mozerella flavor
                        www.azurestandard.com

        Other websites suggested were: www.gfcfdiet.com
