Dear Listmates -
I can't believe the huge number of replies!

Motility issues:
Several listmates have motility issues - or someone in their family - and suggested motility
meds such as Miralox, Reglan plus taking liquid Erythromycin, and other meds.
One sees an intestinal physiotherapist, which I want to know more about.

Many have the same problems that I do with motility, but some have a stomach that empties
slowly, called gastroparesis, and two people take Domperidone for that.

Several mentioned food allergy/intolerance/senstivity issues. Of course, that can cause motility
issues. Several mentioned gluten exposure. That would certainly affect motility, cause gas and
changes in bowel habits.

Some mentioned Asacol and Metamucil for lymphocytic colitis.
Others had various kinds of colitis, but didn't know if they were caused by or related to
Celiac Disease.
One listmate asked if it could be mitochondrial disease, because that would cause problems
like this.

In my case, the Mayo Clinic gastoenterologist - Celiac specialist, and Mayo is the #1 rated
gastroenterology hospital/clinic in the USA (US News and World Report, 2012), says that
motility drugs don't work all that well, especially over time, and put me on small meals
several times a day and not guzzling huge amounts of water at once (a bad habit of mine),
and that is working well for me. It is also free and doesn't have side effects.

Thank you, everyone! What a great group!
Vicki
