Julie Thomas asked what's the connection with chewing on ice
and celiac and asthma. The question was has anyone noticed a connection
with celiac and asthma, since my belief is that both happened to me at
the same time, at age 35.

The chewing on ice is something that has happened to me ever since
I first had iron deficient anemia as a teenager and on and off
over the years. I can always tell because I start chewing on and craving
ice. The more anemic the more ice I craved. This time it lasted 5 years until
I was diagnosed with celiac, then my iron absorption improved and I
now have NO desire to eat ice. (The ice connection happens to many women)

Hope that clears it up a little more.
But I would still like to know if anyone feels asthma and gluten intolerance
 have
have some connection.
