Dear List,

Since I received so many requests for the name of the GF Hoisin sauce used
in the spring roll recipe, I decided to respond directly to the list. The
brand name for the hoisin sauce is Lee Kum Kee. They are a company based in
hong kong. Their web page is http://www.lkk.com/home.html . You can find
out which cities have stores which carry their products. I have not
confirmed the GF status of this product with the company. I reviewed the
label and their are no obvious unsafe ingredients nor are their any
suspicious ingredients. However, given the # of requests from all of you, I
felt I should be certain about the status. So I have contacted the company
and am awaiting their response. I have also asked them for a list of other
GF products in their line. I will post once I get this. In the meantime you
can find a recipe for Hoisin sauce on the following webpage or
http://recipes.alastra.com/ (for those of you who can't wait for the good
stuff any longer).
