Avoid the Rumor Mill Fusion Bar & Restaurant in Ellicott City, (Howard County) Maryland.  Although their menu claims that they accommodate food allergies and sensitivities, my experience this past weekend was the exact opposite!  The waiter claimed to check in the kitchen with the manager and answer my questions, the waiter could not concentrate long enough on my needs to actually answer the questions correctly.  I must have asked 5 different ways if a dish contained any gluten and, even more specifically, soy sauce, which he assured me it did not.  After eating a couple of bites, I had to ask again....this time, after checking in the kitchen, the waiter grabbed my plate and took it away.  The owner/manager claimed to "understand" the situation so he offered me his epi-pen.  Moral of the story - avoid the Rumor Mill!!!
