Just got the newest Sully's Living Without in the mail...lo and behold
at the back of the magazine was a little blurb that Medic Alert is going
to be add watches to its inventory. I went to the website
www.medicalertwatches.com, but it is not up yet....wrote to Medic Alert
for info.
btw, if you do not have a medic alert bracelet, necklace etc...YOU
SHOULD...think what would happen in a medical emergency if you were
unable to tell someone you are celiac. When I was in the ER a few weeks
ago and told the md that I was celiac and he had to make sure the med
was gf, he snuck a quick peak at my wrist to see if I was wearing a
medic-alert. Interesting. You should also have indications in your
wallet that you are celiac....making a note on driver's license is a
good idea
Ann
