Trying to figure out what got us this time---either Act II Butter Lover's micro popcorn or Christopher Ranch Pesto Sauce-----I got this email back from Christopher Ranch about their pesto and other products. Still confused, as it seems we got glutenized from products that may or may not contain gluten. Anyone else react to ConAgra Act II popcorn???

Katie

"Thank you for contacting us. Our Quality Control Supervisor advises that our plant is not gluten free. Since we do not have dedicated lines, we cannot insure that our Pesto or other items have had no contact with gluten, nor can we guarantee that some ingredients, such as Citric Acid or Corn Syrup, are from a gluten free environment.

Our fresh garlic bulbs and peeled garlic cloves are considered gluten-free because neither has any additives nor are they exposed to gluten products.

We sterilize the machinery between runs, but because the lines are not dedicated to one product only, we cannot guarantee 100% that it would not be contaminated. When it comes to your health, we want to be 100% sure. Corn syrup is in our ginger product. The cheese flavor in our Pesto is made from a natural cheese product and has a milk base. We stopped importing garlic from China many months ago in response to consumer requests and concerns. See the attached to tell the difference between California and China garlic.l

We hope this information is helpful.

Best wishes
