I just read a message from Donna regarding spasms in the esophogaus
among other things. I have been diagnosed with a wheat allergy, but at
the time, the allergist said nothing about gluten, or celiac disease. I
have been having a sensation of choking around the base of my throat,
just above the colarbone for about two years now. The symptom comes and
goes, and it didn't occur to me to connect it with anything I had eaten,
until now. I saw my doctor about it and she ran a blood test to see if
it was my thyroid, but said that came back normal. She figured it was
just allergy related. I assumed it was just my dust, dog, pollen, weed,
mold allergies.

Does anyone on the list know if this could be caused by the wheat
allergy, or celiac disease?

Thanks,
Deb
