Less than one week till the First Annual Walk for Celiac Disease !

In the Metro New York area, there will be a 3-mile Walk, Sunday May 5 at
Rockland Lake State Park in Congers, N.Y sponsored by the Westchester Celiac
Sprue Support Group and the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University.
The Park is located on Route 9W, just minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Registration begins at 9:00 A.M. and the Walk starts at 10:00 A.M.

In addition to raising funds for research, we will be increasing awareness by
educating the general public about Celiac Disease. On Sunday mornings, there
are hundreds of walkers, joggers, skaters and bicyclists at Rockland Lake
State Park. We'll be calling attention to our cause and providing literature
and information about CD. Please come and help us spread the word.

We'll have lots of gluten-free snacks, and raffles after the Walk. Donations
and registrations have been rolling in, and we expect a large, enthusiastic
group of Celiac supporters at the Walk. Funds raised will be donated to the
University of Maryland Center for Celiac Research and the Celiac Disease
Center at Columbia University.
