Dear Forum readers,
Thanks to all who replied with helpful suggestions for my wife and offers of
prayer support. I really appreciate it deeply.

My wife and I have read through all of them and are considering getting her
into a candida/detox program to deal with a leaky gut/ bacterial imbalance
and the complications that arise from this. A couple of the programs we are
looking at are these:
http://healthtruth.reachlocal.net/
and
http://www.ehcd.com/

While the info is very thorough and detailed, I'd like to know where the
research documentation can be found that validates the supplements and
herbal therapies used to treat the problems in these programs. I mostly see
"medical commentary" and testimonial information. Can any of you comment on
the scientific validity of these programs?

For example, if program A uses supplement B to treat symptom C, where are
the studies that prove this to be valid and not just a placebo that works on
30% of those who try it? Do they exist somewhere that I can check them out
or are they the result of an accumulation of "tribal knowledge" from around
the globe?

Thanks again for your help.

Dave
