Thank you to all the wonderful people that answered my question: " I will be
traveling up to London Ontario Canada for a few days for a family function
and was wondering if someone could recommend any GF friendly restaurants.
Also does Swiss Chalet have any gluten free items on their Menu?"

The consensus was that the chicken and chalet sauce was GF. Many suggested
going to there website: http://www.swisschalet.ca/ourmenu/allergens.pdf
which states what is and what is not GF. Another person said that they found
a little store/bakery that caters to the GF client. It is called the
Jubilee Kafe and is located somewhere near the center of the city. Someone
else mentioned Il fornellos which is a local Italian restaurant in Toronto
that has many gluten free items on their menu, including an outstanding
gluten free pizza! You can check to see if there are any locations in the
London area.

Thanks so much for all your responses. Now I can look forward to eating at
one of my favorite Canadian restaurants Swiss Chalet.
