Spiced Pecans
 
 
1/2 cup sugar
3 Tbsp water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne (Use a heaping 1/2 teaspoon if you like them really spicy)
2 cups pecans
 
Preheat oven to 350.   Combine first 4 ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves.  Boil 2 minutes and add pecans; stir untilwell coated.
 
Bake about 12 minutes and transfer to waxed paper – breakapart when cooled.
