I am looking for an interesting story of a presentation of celiac that
stumped the docs. Yes, yes, most of us have a story like this, so the case
should make even the more jaded of us say "Wow!" The purpose of this story
is for an awareness piece in a nationally recognized publication. Your name
need not be disclosed in the article, but fact-checking will occur. That
means that you must have a biopsy-proven diagnosis and you and the
physician/s involved will be contacted by the author. The diagnosed celiac
may be an adult or a child, and any manifestation of celiac is okay (meaning
GI, neurological, infertility, etc.).

If you would like to share your story for consideration please send me a
brief summary of your (or your child's) presentation of symptoms, various
tests endured and/or mis-diagnoses and how you were eventually diagnosed.
Please include the age and gender of the patient and the length of time
between the onset of symptoms and diagnosis. Thank you!
