Hi All - 
   The comments  for the croissants were in general very positive - Fabulous, delicious, great, esp. the ones that are chocolate- filled.
  They do contain wheat starch but are labeled gluten free.  No one had any  adverse reaction.
   I found these at Wegman's in the frozen food section.  
  Only one person said good but not worth the price - I saw $4.99 per box.  Maybe for an occasional treat.
   Puff pastry - Only one person replied  who said they heard of people using it and were fine making pastry with it.
