Chicken Paradise ( www.chickenparadise.com ) has been busy all summer
hosting our gluten free friends from all over the country. It seems that
many of our guests have multiple food restrictions, and some are not gluten
related at all. We have had far more guests than we had anticipated, and
look forward to hosting you when you get to the San Antonio area. There are
new pictures on the website, if you click on the link at the top of the home
page that starts off with Kiolbassa sausage.... We made the TV news this
summer!

We have reservations for Thanksgiving time, when the Alamo Celiac group
hosts a Thanksgiving dinner, and already have bookings for Fiesta time in
April, 2007. We will probably be closed the last two weeks of December,
enjoying our own family of celiacs.

If you are coming to San Antonio for business reasons, plan ahead and get
your reservations made soon. If you are coming for fun, then you might be
more flexible and can change some of your days so you can stay with us. We
hate to tell celiacs that the date they want is already booked.

Another suggestion.... We have become known in this area for being the
gluten free authority on breakfast, so other B&Bs are calling me to ask what
they can serve their gf guests. Yesterday I had a call from a B&B in
Virginia wanting suggestions. So, if you are staying somewhere else in the
US, and think your host B&B would benefit from some guidance, have them call
or e-mail me and I will be happy to help them out.

Hope to see you here in San Antonio soon!
Anne and Joe Barfield
