Hi.  I just wanted to tell everyone about my Celiac symptoms, which are
different than most.  I am also wondering if anyone else suffers from these
symptoms.

My hands swell up in the thumb joints and in the wrist, so bad that I can
barely do anything.  I can't write, turn keys in locks, do a puzzle,
basically anything, the pain is so bad.  It took many years and going to
many doctors before one of they told me to try not eating wheat, which took
the pain away within a week.  I was so surprised - I didn't think it would
work, and I am so happy now that I know what the problem is.  My symptoms
started when I was about 12 years old - they were mild symptoms.  I am 26
now and over the years the pain got worse and worse until it progressed to
the inability to do things stage.  Now I find that when I become
contaminated, my back hurts in about the middle on the spine - the doctor
says the tendons are inflamed.  Also I experience extreme fatigue, where I
can barely keep my eyes open.

Other than that, I don't seem to have any stomach problems that I have
noticed that come along with Celiac disease.  Does anyone else have this
tendon/joint swelling pain?
