Hi!

I am looking for advice on food dehydrators. I recently heard someone
talking about making homemade beef jerky and fruit leather. My son has
really missed having beef jerky and it sounds like this would be a great
food to have on hand for emergency snacks and traveling, etc.

Does anyone out there have any experience with this process? Is it a
successful project and worth the investment in a machine? If so, any words
of wisdom on what type of machine to get or any great recipes? It sounds
promising as a way to be sure fruit snacks and jerky are completely gf but I
haven't actually seen or tasted a homemade version so I am a little hesitant
to jump out and buy yet another contraption.

Thank you in advance for your help. I will summarize and post the answers I
receive.

Becky
