<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>>

Thanks to all I heard from and there were many.
A summary follows but please realize these are anecdotal suggestions and you should always check with your medical provider for specific recommendations for your own situation:
Exercise - everyone suggested this even if only walking daily
       Supplements should include
CA - 1000-1200 mg per day - many suggested calcium citrate or piccolinate if you can tolerate it -
always include CA-rich foods in your diet
          Citracal
          Vit D3 - 2000 or more i.u. per day
          Vit K2
          MRM Bone maximizer
Magnesium glycinate - 1000 3x day - be careful with this as many cannot tolerate MG
          Chromium picolinate
          Vitafusion CA - chewables
  Medications:
Several have taken Prolia with good results even to the point of no longer needing it because of reversal of the osteoporosis.
       Also Reclast and Fosamax
Avoid soft drinks as these rob the calcium from your bones.

As a result of my recent Dexascan my doctor is recommending Ca (1200 mg) and Vit D3 (2000) per day and says we will talk about possibly starting medication on my next visit in Dec. I have mixed feelings about this and will be doing more research.
I would love to hear from people who have taken any of these medications.
I am also trying to incorporate more CA-rich foods in my diet, esp. green. leafy vegetables.

   Thanks again to all,
     Christy in PA
