1. BOOT SCOOTIN' AGAINST GLUTEN, MIDDLE TENNESSEE WALK FOR CELIAC

River Park, Brentwood TN

Presented by the Nashville - Middle Tennessee Celiac Support Group and CSA

Bring your family and friends for a lovely walk along a paved and gentle 3K
trail in Brentwood¹s River Park. There will be educational information, a
silent auction, music by Cody & Chance, games and activities for the kids
too. Pre-registered walk participants will receive a t-shirt and goody bag
(while supplies last). And of course, there will be gluten free treats to
enjoy! Proceeds benefit the CSA Peer Review Research Grant Program. So dust
off your boots and show us what you¹ve got!

In Brentwood, just off I-65 south of Nashville. Take Concord Road East exit.
River Park is on the corner of Concord Road and Knox Valley Drive, across
from the Brentwood Library. Parking available at the park and at the
Brentwood Library in the left lot. Please do not park on the street or in
the grass or you will be towed by the city.

Register now, early bird discount ends on May 1!

Registration Fee:
Adults: $20* (late fee and event day $25)
Children (17 years old and under): $10* (late fee and event day $15)

*Early Bird Registrations must be received by May 1, 2007 to be guaranteed a
T-shirt and goody bag. Late fees apply to entries received after May 1,
2007.

2. FREE CELIAC BLOOD SCREENING AT WALK

Free Celiac Blood Screening from Prometheus Laboratories, Inc.,
The Binding Site, and Heritage Medical Associates.

8:30 am - 11:30 am
River Park, Brentwood TN

Limited to first 250 people.* Pre-registration is required. Walk-ins will
not be allowed. However, we will maintain a standby list in case we have any
unfilled appointments, so please provide a cell phone number so we may
contact you during walk.

*Individuals at risk for celiac disease are eligible to participate (e.g.
first degree relatives, symptomatic, associated illnesses, etc.). At this
time, we can NOT screen children under 12. We are working on resolving this,
please check back later.

Participants may NOT be on a gluten-free diet. A gluten free diet may
produce a false negative in your test results.

Test results will be mailed to our sponsoring physician in 1 - 2 weeks.
