The 5/19/2007 issue  of Science News mentions a conference abstract that
found that in animals sorghum "can fight inflammation almost as well as
a prescription drug for arthritis does". It also says that "preliminary
data suggest that enriching diets with sorghum might offer a good
alternative to some pain medications."
