For those who are familiar with LePeep restaurants, this is a reply my son
received from them.

Dear Mr. Haehl,

You are in luck with the gluten-free information! It just so happens
that I was diagnosed with Celiac disease just over a year ago. As a
result, I have researched to find out what items on our menu are safe
for Celiacs to eat.

Please note that some locations, including the ones in Indiana, are
independently owned. As such, they may use a different brand of meats.
Most of our restaurants use Oscar Mayer for their bacon and ham. They
are sage for us. However, you should check with the manager at the
restaurant that you go to to make sure that they do use that brand. All
of our cheeses are real cheddat, gruyere, or jack cheese. These should
be gluten free.

Below, find a list of products that you should be safe eating:

Peasant Potatoes (we make our own spice mixture, which is gluten free,
and the oil they are blanched in is also gluten free.) Eggs, Easy Eggs,
and Egg Whites (Ask for them to be cooked dry or in real butter.)
Cheddar, Combo, and Gruyere Cheeses Ham and Bacon (If Oscar Mayer) Mini
Denver Omelette, Western Omelette, Spinach and Bacon Omelette,
Spinnaker, Mini Veggie Omelette, and Veggie Omelette (If they use Oscar
Mayer- salsa is supposed to be homemade, so should be safe, but verify
they make their own. Specify cooked dry or with real butter.) The Gypsy,
Drifter, Wanderer, and Hobo skillets (With Oscar Mayer and real butter
or dry for cooking the eggs.) Grilled Chicken Salad (Chicken breast
should not be marinated. But ask to make sure when you get there.
Without shoestring potatoes or dressing.) I also often eat our chicken
breast sandwiches or burgers without the buns, with the salad (without
shoestring potatoes or dressing) or fresh fruit. (Our French fries are
NOT gluten free.)

I hope that this is helpful to you. If you have any further questions,
please do not hesitate to ask. Having gone through this adjustment
myself recently, I know there are many questions and I am still
researching places, myself.

Sincerely,

Amanda M. Rhoads
