I have a reply from Hormel. I don't entirely agree with their answer, since I never reacted to the Roast Beef Hash before.

Ms First,

Thank you for contacting us about HORMEL Corned Beef Hash. The recipe for our hash has not been changed. The corned beef hash has always been gluten free but the roast beef hash contains wheat protein and is not gluten free.

Please feel free to contact us again if you have any further questions or comments.
