To whom it may concern,

Celiac Disease is thought to be a rare disease by many physicians.  Because
of this, Celiac Disease is a disease that may very often be misdiagnosed or
overlooked.   We have a rare opportunity to help educate the medical
community and patients in our community about Celiac Disease.

Dr. Kenneth Fine, MD, Medical Director, GI Physiology Lab, Baylor University
Medical Center, Dallas, Texas will be speaking in Columbia, SC at the May
meeting of the Midlands Area Celiac Support Group.

Dr. Fine, an internationally renowned intestinal researcher, is a noted
Clinical Researcher of Gluten Sensitivity, Celiac Sprue, and Microscopic
Colitis.  Dr. Fine is also Director of Finer Health and Nutrition
(www.finerhealth.com), EnteroLab (www.enterolab.com), and the Intestinal
Health Institute in Dallas, Texas.  He is also on the Medical Advisory Board
of Gluten Free Living, a national resource publication for people with gluten
sensitivity.

After obtaining his bachelora (TM)s degree in biology and his medical
degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Dr. Fine received 6
years of training in internal medicine and gastroenterology with a focus
on intestinal research, from Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas.
Dr. Fine has been a part of Dallasa (TM) academic and clinical medical
community for 10 years, holding staff positions at both Baylor
University Medical Center and the university of Texas-Southwestern
Medical School.  His medical research publications have appeared in
prestigious medical journals including The New England Journal of
Medicine, Gastroenterology, The Journal of Clinical Investigation, and
The American Journal of Gastroenterology.
