I'm trying to make Bette Hagman's recipe for Honey-Sweetened Hawaiian
Bread. It calls for NutQuik or almond meal. I've tried Whole Foods,
the local healthfood grocery and Albertsons. Whole Foods used to carry
it but say they've quit. The others have never heard of it. What is
it? Can I substitute something else? The recipe calls for 3
tablespoons. Can I just grind up 3 TBLS of almonds? I really wanted to
make this for a function I'm going to tomorrow and don't have time to
order it over the internet. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jill/Texas
